Description
In geology, strata are the layers of rock that you can see changing as a mountainside erodes. They tell the story of our planet’s history, and they give us a peek into the past. Wine can be very similar, and the layers that are in the Strata Blue Sauvignon Blanc tell the story of how the wine was made. The bright citrus and ripe tropical fruits come from the warm days growing on the California coast, but the freshness and acidity remain because of the cooling effects of the nighttime Pacific winds. With beautiful citrus and pineapple flavors, this fresh wine will easily pair with fresh foods, but we like it just as much on its own. Judges love it too! It took home a Silver Medal at the 2020 West Coast Wine Competition
