Tailleurs Cueilleurs Grenala Gamay is a natural wine made from grapes farmed organically and biodynamically in Bugey, France. This wine is produced using whole bunch fermentation and partial carbonic maceration, resulting in a very gentle extraction. This process gives the wine a nearly ethereal quality, with crystalline aromas of cranberry, raspberry, and alpine herbs.
The Producer: Tailleurs Cueilleurs
Tailleurs Cailleurs, led by Chloé Bey and Jordan d’Osualdo, operates out of Saint-Jean-le-Vieux on the northern edge of Bugey. They manage several small vineyard plots, adhering to organic and biodynamic farming practices to foster a thriving local ecosystem. In their winemaking process, they avoid the use of sulphur at any stage. All of their wines mature in demi-muids and are bottled without filtration to preserve their natural character.
