Description

A stunning wine garnering 91 points from Vinous and 90 from Wine Enthusiast. Coming from the consistently mild 2018 growing season, the fruit ripened gradually on the vine to develop deep and complex flavors. The resulting wines are highly detailed in flavor, balance, and intensity. The grapes came from Talbott’s Olsen Vineyard in the southern region of the Santa Lucia Highlands. The region is all rolling hills, which get beautiful sunlight for ripening the grapes. The granite and limestone soils retain the heat that helps build the wine’s flavor: big tropical fruit and vanilla.
