Description
Tenuta la Pergola Monferrato Rosso is a Piedmont red wine blend from the Bodda family estate in Cisterna d’Asti. The wine consists primarily of Barbera with supporting Bonarda, Dolcetto, and Freisa grapes from indigenous Piemontese varieties. Vineyards are planted in sandy and clay soils across the Monferrato hills, producing softer wines than the marl-dominated Langhe region. The wine undergoes traditional winemaking with 10 months aging in stainless steel tanks. This custom blend represents the everyday wine culture of Piedmont’s rustic heartland.
