Tequila Ocho Reposado is one of the most respected reposados in the world of additive-free tequila. Crafted by the legendary Carlos Camarena at La Alteña Distillery (NOM 1474) in the Highlands of Jalisco, Ocho is the first tequila brand to emphasize terroir — the unique characteristics of each agave field and harvest year — much like fine wine.
Made with 100% fully mature blue agave harvested only when overripe, this reposado is rested for exactly 8 weeks and 8 days in ex-American whiskey barrels. That minimal aging lets the pure highland agave character shine through while adding a gentle layer of warmth and complexity.
