Description
While Napa Valley has a long history of winemaking, it wasn’t the first region on the west coast to make fine wine. The distinction of being the birthplace of world-class wines in California goes to Sonoma County. Since the 1850’s family owned vineyards have dotted the region, all taking advantage of the warm days and cool nights. The Thicket Red is a perfect award-winning example of Sonoma wine with a full body and open, jewel-like fruit—it’s almost Burgundian in composition. With a kiss of vanilla and spice, this wine is a fantastic accompaniment to anything coming off of the grill. It took home a silver medal at the 2018 Press Democrat North Coast Wine Challenge, the 2018 North of the Gate Wine Challenge, and the 2018 Critics Challenge!
