Description
Thierry Hesnault Sanguin is a stunning expression of Pineau d’Aunis from young vines rooted in sandy, silex, and iron-rich soils, situated within the same parcel as Centenaire du Vauperroux in the Sarthe. The grapes were whole-bunch fermented for three weeks before being gently pressed and transferred to old barrels for aging until the following spring. The wine is light, bright, and fragrant, showcasing vibrant notes of wild strawberries, refreshing minerals, and a hint of pink peppercorns. It’s a lively and invigorating wine that captures the essence of its unique terroir.
