Thomas Angles Ephémère is a red natural wine made from Aramon (60%), Grenache Noir (30%), and a blend of white varieties including Muscat a Petit Grains (10%) farmed organically in Languedoc-Roussillon, Southern France.
The Producer: Thomas Angles
Thomas Angles operates his vineyard nestled near the garrigue of Cessenon-sur-Orb and Saint-Chinian, within the Languedoc region of Southern France. His estate spans 5 hectares, characterized by limestone clay and silt soils, cultivating old dry-farmed vines at an elevation of 250 meters above sea level. Since 2020, Angles has specialized in the production of red wines, selecting indigenous grape varieties including Aramon, Carignan, Grenache, Alicante, and Syrah. He is dedicated to organic and biodynamic vineyard practices. In his cellar, Angles employs natural winemaking techniques, using only natural yeasts and eschewing additives or filtration, with the goal of producing red wines that are both enjoyable and emblematic of the Languedoc region’s distinct terroir.
