Sourced from a region featuring some of California’s oldest vines, our Threaded Tale Cabernet Sauvignon from Lodi weaves together an enticing story of jammy, dark fruit, and delectable oak-influenced flavors. Lodi is home to many old-growth vineyards, some dating as far back as the late 1800s. As a vine ages, it produces a smaller amount of grape clusters. This means the nutrients the vine pulls from the soil and the energy it produces from photosynthesis is concentrated into a small number of grapes rather than dispersing these resources between a high volume of clusters. This focus results in highly concentrated flavors and a more desirable skin-to-pulp ratio.
