To Whom 2016 Red Blend North Coast, California

The North Coast region of California is cool and the wines from the region have trademark flavors because of the unique growing conditions. The grapes are subjected to the cool fogs and winds that blow up off of the Pacific and into the vineyards. The To Whom Red Blend is an elegant expression of a North Coast red. The harmony of dark cherry, vanilla, and raspberry that play off of licorice and chocolate make every sip a delight. This is the kind of wine that we like to settle into and really savor. The flavors are only enhanced by food pairings. To Whom is fantastic with anything incorporating sweet peppers, caramelized onions, and mushrooms. We’d also recommend trying this wine with a cheese board, as it will shine with blue cheese. Judges love it too! It took home 91 Points and a Gold at the 2019 San Diego International Wine & Spirits Challenge, and a Silver medal at the 2019 West Coast Wine Competition and the North of the Gate Wine Competition!
