Description
California is a place that fosters unique things. We most often encounter unique California wines, wines that have real terroir, wines that showcase the special characteristics of a small plot of land. The wine we offer today is named for another unique California native: the Tule Elk. The Tule Elk Junction Pinot Noir showcases flavors that aren’t found in most robust California reds. We love the complex, almost savory finish with just enough acidity to keep every taste fresh. It is a lovely wine to pair with food, and we’ve been enjoying it immensely with grilled pork and salmon accompanied by mushrooms sautéed with red wine. Judges love it too! It took home 91 points and a Gold medal at the 2019 West Coast Wine Competition!
