Description
Echeverria No Es Pituko Carignan is made from 100% Carignan grapes grown organically in Chile’s Curicó Valley. Viña Echeverria produces this natural wine from old, ungrafted vines established in 1923. The grapes are hand-harvested in 18-kilogram boxes, then destemmed and cold-macerated for four days before wild yeast fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 23-27°C for 12-15 days. The wine remains unfiltered and unfined with no added sulfites. The Curicó Valley’s Mediterranean climate with warm days and cool nights creates optimal conditions for Carignan cultivation.
