Description
Our winemaking partner, Rodrigo Moletto, has incredible global winemaking experience. He chose to craft this Sauvignon Blanc in a more rounded style than typically expected from the varietal. Sourced from mostly young vines and featuring fresh citrus flavors, this wine has a briny salinity that adds an incredible texture. Stretching 250 miles long throughout Chile’s narrow boundaries, the Valle Central is a workhorse for Chilean wine production. Fruit experiences a cooler climate thanks to the nearby influences of the chilly Pacific Ocean and is planted in fine-grained soils that retain water. An environment of the sort makes vines work incredibly hard for the proper nutrients, which results in bold flavors and natural acidity that bursts from the glass. The 2020 growing season was slow in Valle Central, which allowed for aromatic components of the wine to develop fully. Fantastic on its own on a weekend afternoon or paired with salty cheeses, fresh fish, or vegetable dishes of all kinds.
