100% Catarratto from calcareous soils around Trapani. Short skin contact and gently pressed within 24 hours and matured for 6 months in steel tanks. The wines of Vino Lauria let you taste the terroir of the west coast of Sicily. The salty tones from the Mediterranean Sea and the warm climate provide body and minerality. The wines are balanced, fresh and all have that Sicilian character. Strong straw yellow, radiant and clear. On the noseRipe yellow stone fruit, peaches, apricots, yellow-fleshed melons, followed by sage, laurel, linseed and wild camomile. On the palate you’ll find Golden fruitiness, balanced with notes of camomile and sage, emphasised by a ripe acidity that leads to a tart finish. Fruity and aromatic, with a crisp, dry extract and a ripe acidity profile. 12.5% ABV
