Waterford Lacken Edition 1.1 Irish Single Malt Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Complex and , dark chocolate, grapefruit, apricot, dried berries, straw, barley, fruit biscuits, milky and floral notes (rose)
Palate: Spicy and pepper, cocoa powder, orange zest and caramel on the attack, followed by gourmet flavors of nuts and grapefruit and an earthy touch.
Finish: Refined and notes of sweet spices complete an enveloping and creamy texture.
Distillery Information
The Waterford Distillery was created in 2015 by converting a former Guinness Brewery in Waterford, in the very south of Ireland. The distillerys founder Mark Reynier was formerly the mastermind behind the rebuilding of Islay Distillery Bruichladdich.
