Description
No wine is more classically Australian than Shiraz, and this is one of the best. Harvested at perfect ripeness it is full of blue fruit, well-balanced alcohol, and a perfect acidity. You know it’s Shiraz in its most delicate form when the secondary notes of black pepper and oregano creep onto your palate. The finish has oak spices with hints of vanilla and milk chocolate. The round mouthfeel and beautiful acidity make this an excellent wine for pairing. Our experts think that it works excellently with foods that have more texture, in particular, duck breast, wild game, or a grilled sausage. Judges love it too! It took home a gold medal and was name the “Best of Australia” at the 2018 Harvest Challenge.
