Wild Turkey Master’s Keep One is a 101 Proof (50.5% ABV) premium bourbon produced at the Wild Turkey Distillery (DSP-KY-1). This sixth release in the Master’s Keep series is a technical marriage of mid-aged bourbons (9–10 years) and extra-aged stocks (14 years). Following the initial blend, the liquid underwent a unique secondary maturation in toasted and charred new oak barrels within Timber Raft warehouses. The process highlights the contrast between the bold, high-tannin older stocks and the vibrant, honeyed profile of the younger barrels.
The resulting profile is structurally dense, offering technical notes of toasted cinnamon, nutmeg, and caramel with a heavy charred oak finish. It stands as a high-intent benchmark for collectors seeking the specific wood influence of the Russell family’s signature toasted-oak finishing process.
