Description
Located around the same latitude as parts of Central Australia, the Western Cape of South Africa is a truly unique and beautiful spot for winegrowing. The region experiences dry, hot days that are mitigated by cooler moments thanks to maritime influences and winds coming off the bordering Atlantic Ocean. Fruit is grown at low elevations, which allows for full ripening under the sunny skies. Our award-winning Sauvignon Blanc is made in Sancerre style with an Old World weightiness but New World flavors. White floral aromas complement tropical and citrus fruit notes. Thanks to coastal influences, a pronounced minerality and salinity rounds out the finish. Natural acidity makes the taste linger on the palate and will have you reaching for another glass! Lovely to drink on its own or a perfect pair for all kinds of fresh seafood dishes. Scroll through the image carousel above to learn more about this wine.
