Description
Wonderwerk Big Orange is a natural orange wine crafted from eight white grape varieties: 30.5% Muscat Canelli, 28.6% Albariño, 16.6% Sauvignon Blanc, 12.1% Chenin Blanc, 6.7% Torrontes, 2.2% Verdelho, 2.2% Alvarinho, and 1.1% Verdejo. Sourced from Clarksburg, Livermore Valley, and Alta Mesa AVAs in California, each varietal ferments separately on skins for 1-2 weeks with twice-daily punchdowns. Produced by winemakers Issamu Kamide and Andrew Lardy using native yeast fermentation, the wine ages in tank and neutral oak for five months.
