Wonderwerk Lite Werk Hibiscus is a low-alcohol piquette made from Tempranillo, Zinfandel, and Grenache grape pomace re-fermented for 3-7 days, then blended with 30% finished wine. Produced in Gilroy, California by winemakers Issamu Kamide and Andrew Lardy, this innovative beverage infuses heirloom Oaxacan hibiscus tea into the blend. The sustainable winemaking process uses native yeast fermentation and minimal intervention techniques. At 7% ABV, this vegan, unfined, and unfiltered wine represents Wonderwerk’s experimental approach to natural winemaking.
