Description
Wonderwerk Love at First Sight is a ramato-style wine from California made from 100% Pinot Gris grapes sourced from responsibly farmed vineyards. Winemakers Issamu Kamide and Andrew Lardy produce Wonderwerk Love at First Sight in Los Angeles and Gilroy using low-intervention techniques. The destemmed Pinot Gris ferments on the skins for two weeks in 1.5-ton open-top fermentors with twice-daily pump-overs transitioning to punch-downs. The wine ages seven months in neutral oak barrels. Wonderwerk Love at First Sight 2023 undergoes spontaneous fermentation with ambient yeasts, remains unfined and unfiltered, and receives 32ppm sulfur additions total.
