Description
Wonderwerk Marinara NV (2024) is a California red blend made from organically farmed grapes in Contra Costa County. The blend comprises Montepulciano (50%), Teroldego (20%), Zinfandel (20%), and Grenache (10%). Winemakers Issamu Kamide and Andrew Lardy employ carbonic maceration followed by spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts. The wine ages five months in neutral oak barrels. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfur additions, this natural wine reflects hands-on production methods and sustainable vineyard practices across California’s diverse growing regions.
