Description
Bordeaux is the most famous wine region on Earth, and the wines from the Right Bank are known for being rounder and softer than their left bank cousins due to a larger dose of Merlot in the blend. Like Bordeaux, Sonoma County has a cool maritime climate where the grapes can retain their acidity while still reaching ripeness. For this blend, the Merlot provides lush fruit and a soft texture on the palate. The Cabernet provides structure and a lingering finish. Cab Franc brings freshness with high acidity. A touch of Zin, Petit Verdot, and Malbec bring color and a California twist to the classic blend. The result transcends and proves that the New World can compete with the Old. Judges love it too! It took home a Silver Medal at the 2020 West Coast Wine Competition.
