Description
YoYo Alma is a natural red wine made from 60% Grenache and 40% Mourvèdre grapes grown organically on granitic soils in Montesquieu-des-Albères, Roussillon, France. Winemaker Laurence Manya Krief sources the Grenache from organic growers while the Mourvèdre comes from her estate vineyards. Hand-harvested on August 26, 2024, the grapes undergo whole-bunch semi-carbonic maceration for 12 days with some cap punching. The wine ages for three months in used barrels before being bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfur addition (1g/hl).
