Description

YoYo La Tranchée is a natural red wine produced by Laurence Manya Krief (YoYo) in the Roussillon region near Banyuls-sur-Mer. The vineyard, located between the Mediterranean Sea and the Pyrenees, features black schist soils that lend a unique mineral quality to the wine. La Tranchée is crafted from a blend of 70% Grenache Noir and 30% Syrah, with over 85-year-old vines. YoYo uses carbonic maceration for two weeks to preserve the wine’s fruitiness and elegance, then aging in neutral oak barrels. This low-intervention wine is made organically, with no added sulfur, allowing the terroir to shine.

La Tranchée reveals black cherry, violet, and strawberry jam notes with a juicy, supple texture. The wine features melted tannins and a refreshing minerality that adds complexity without heaviness.
