Description
The warm, dry Mediterranean climate of Spain is perfect for winegrowing, so it’s no surprise that the country is home to throngs of beloved wines that are drank across the world. The coastal influences that come off the bordering Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea provide fruit with relief from the typically sunny days but create an environment that lets varietals of all kinds thrive. Our 2020 Musa Noctuaria Airén is a surprising sleeper that will have you reaching for another glass. Crafted alongside our partners in Spain who have been making wine for over 50 years, winemaker Antonio Muñoz fermented our beautiful wine in stainless steel tanks allowing the fruit to speak for itself. Airén is Spain’s most widely planted white grape but is used primarily for brandy. On rare occasions, it is bottled as a stand-alone varietal, and when it is, it is not one to pass up!
