Description
Fabien Jouves produces Les Agudes at Mas del Périé, his 21-hectare estate on the highest slopes of Cahors. This white wine blends Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Sémillon blanc, Colombard, Ugni Blanc and Sauvignon Gris from 20-year-old vines planted to clay and limestone soils. Following biodynamic agriculture with Demeter certified practices, the grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and no SO2 addition. After 6 months aging in stainless steel tanks, barrels and foudres, Fabien Jouves Les Agudes is bottled unfiltered and unfined.
