Description

Heinrich Naked Red NV is a dry red wine made by Gernot and Heike Heinrich at Weingut Heinrich in Gols, Burgenland, Austria. The blend of Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, and St. Laurent is sourced from biodynamically farmed vineyards on both sides of Lake Neusiedl: limestone and schist soils on the Leithaberg slopes to the west, and gravelly Parndorfer Plain and humus-rich Heideboden to the east. Grapes are hand-harvested, fermented with indigenous yeasts in wooden and stainless steel vats, and aged over one year in used wooden barrels. Heinrich Naked Red NV is bottled without fining or filtration at 12.5% ABV.
