Description

This unique Red wine comes from a third-generation owned estate in Bordeaux and represents one of the highest quality classifications in the region – Bordeaux Supérieur. A wine within this classification receives an elevated status by following particular standards – winemakers must use older vines in densely planted vineyards, they must take into consideration the required ripeness of fruit and sugar levels upon harvest, and wines must go through a 12-month minimum barrel aging requirement. Needless to say, this wine is spectacular! A traditional representation of a Bordeaux blend, this wine is made up of 60% Merlot, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 17% Cabernet Franc. It is full-bodied and supple with beautifully well-structured tannins. Easy to appreciate on its own or paired with hard cheese and grilled or roasted meats.
