Description
Encosta da Quinta Humus Rosé is produced by Encosta da Quinta in Portugal’s Lisboa region, specifically from the Óbidos area. Winemaker Rodrigo Filipe creates this natural wine from a blend of Touriga Nacional, Arinto, and Fernão Pires grown on clay and limestone soils. The Touriga Nacional macerates on red skins for three hours before macerating with destemmed white grape skins for 30 days. Wild yeast fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging in 225-liter oak barrels for nine months. Encosta da Quinta Humus Rosé remains unfiltered, unfined, with no added sulfites, from organically certified vineyards.
