Description
Yves Duport Céline is a natural wine hailing from the Bugey region in eastern France. This unique blend comprises 40% Chardonnay, 40% Gamay, and 20% Mondeuse grapes, all cultivated on calcareous limestone soils that impart a notable minerality to the wine. The grapes are immediately pressed upon harvest and undergo spontaneous fermentation lasting approximately three weeks, with temperature control ensuring the preservation of delicate aromas and flavors. After fermentation, the wine is filtered and bottled, resulting in a light ruby-colored wine that bridges the gap between a dark rosé and a light red.
