Description
Martin Texier Cérouan 2023 is a Vin de France red wine produced by Martin Texier from Syrah grapes grown in the La Clau vineyard in Saint-Julien-en-Saint-Alban. The vineyard was planted in 1955 with Sérine, an ancient Syrah cultivar, on granite soils at 250 to 300 meters elevation in the northern Rhône. Two-thirds of the grapes are destemmed while one-third undergoes three days of carbonic maceration before crushing. Martin Texier Cérouan 2023 ferments with indigenous yeasts and ages in neutral barrels for over one year before bottling unfined and unfiltered.
