This expression is a technical curation of the distillery’s most complex barrels, featuring a mash bill of 72% corn, 18% rye, and 10% malted barley. The maturation profile is defined by an initial aging period in new charred American oak followed by a secondary finishing process in hand-selected ruby port wine casks sourced from Portugal.
Produced at the Angel’s Envy Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky, this high-proof release was limited to a total allocation of 8,000 bottles. The technical presentation includes the signature heavy glass bottle encased in a commemorative solid oak display box with a sliding door, specifically designed to protect the integrity of this non-chill filtered, small-batch blend.
