Angel’s Envy Mizunara Cask Finish is a 97.8 Proof (48.9% ABV) limited-edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey released in September 2020 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the brand’s first port-finished bourbon. This technical expression is a blend of mature 4-year and 9-year-old bourbons with a 72% corn, 18% rye, and 10% malted barley mash bill. The maturation profile is defined by a rigorous two-year secondary finishing period in rare, virgin Japanese Mizunara oak casks, which are notoriously difficult to cooper due to the porous and temperamental nature of the wood.
Produced at the Angel’s Envy Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky, this landmark release was limited to a total allocation of 1,200 bottles. The technical presentation includes a premium crystal decanter housed in a high-gloss, gold-labeled display box, engineered for long-term collectible preservation.
