New Holland Brewing presents the 2024 edition of Dragon’s Milk Origin Toasted Barrel. This barrel-strength small batch bourbon is distilled in Holland, Michigan, using a high-malt mash bill (70% corn, 25% malted barley, 5% rye) and a prohibition-era copper pot still.
After aging for at least five years in new charred American oak, the whiskey undergoes a secondary finish in hand-selected toasted barrels. As a batch-variable release, the proof for the 2024 vintage typically ranges between 114 and 126. The toasting process introduces sophisticated notes of vanilla, toasted marshmallow, and candied almonds to the robust, cask-strength profile.
