Description
Booker’s The Beam House Batch 7 Year is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon from James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, Kentucky. Released as Batch 2024-02 and bottled at 124.6 proof, this uncut, unfiltered Booker’s release is part of the named-batch series Master Distiller Fred Noe oversees.
Master Distiller Fred Noe selected the batch from five production dates stored in four different warehouse locations, aged 7 years, 2 months and 22 days. Marking the second release of the Booker’s Bourbon 2024 Collection, this batch is named for the place many Beam family members called home, and where Fred Noe calls home today.
Per Fred Noe’s notes, on the nose, it shows pleasant, vanilla and some dried fruit notes. The palate brings welcoming, and the finish carries long and pleasantly sweeter, from aging in oak barrels. The pour shows Booker’s darkest, deepest amber and henna color.
A 2024 Booker’s release, this named batch is closely tracked by collectors building a complete Booker’s run. Bottled at full barrel strength with no chill filtration, it rewards a few drops of water and drinks well neat or over a single large cube.
