Christian Tschida Non-tradition 4 Jahre Fassgereift is crafted from 100% Grüner Veltliner grapes grown in Burgenland, Austria’s easternmost wine region. The vineyards sit on sandy gravel, schist, and limestone soils near Lake Neusiedl, benefiting from the lake’s moderating influence. This natural wine undergoes biodynamic farming, foot-crushing, and spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. The wine ages for four years in large Stockinger barrels without topping-up, resulting in a deliberately oxidative style. No sulfur is added during production.
