Description
Château de Grand Pré’s Buvons Pour des Idées is a natural red wine crafted from 100% Gamay grapes from 80-year-old vines in the Fleurie appellation of Beaujolais, France. The vineyards are on sandy and loess soils, contributing to the wine’s elegance and minerality. The grapes are hand-harvested, ensuring optimal ripeness and quality. Winemaker Romain Zordan employs traditional methods, including a maceration period of 10 to 15 days in temperature-controlled tanks, followed by 10 months of aging on fine lees in concrete tanks. This minimal-intervention approach, with no added sulfites, allows the wine to express the pure characteristics of the Gamay grape and its terroir.
