Marcel Richaud is the 5th generation at the domain today covering 80 ha. He took over the family domaine in 1974 and was determined to free himself from the cooperative winery and to sell his own bottles. For Marcel, the most important thing is the raw material. He doesn’t fine nor filter and add just a little bit of sulphur to adjust his wines.
The nose offers fresh, crispy red fruit notes, including raspberry, strawberry, and blackberry, with hints of violet and a light spice. The palate is clean, fluid, and refreshing, bursting with cherry and raspberry notes. It has a lively acidity and a supple, Velvety tannin structure that provides a fresh balance. 14% ABV
