Description
Fabio Gea Cul Otte Nebbiolo is crafted by former geologist Fabio Gea at his estate near Barbaresco in Piedmont. Made from organically grown Nebbiolo grapes on clay and limestone soils, the wine undergoes destemming followed by two to three weeks maceration. Fermentation and aging occur in custom-made stoneware and porcelain vessels crafted by Gea himself. No temperature control, fining, or filtration is used, with zero sulfur additions. The wine is bottled in reclaimed Travaglini Gattinara bottles with handmade labels.
