Description
Frank Cornelissen Susucaru Rosato 2024 is a natural rosé from the northern slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily. This field blend combines Nerello Mascalese with Malvasia, Moscadella, and Catarratto grapes cultivated organically on volcanic soils between 600 and 1,000 meters elevation. Frank Cornelissen employs minimal intervention throughout: hand-harvested grapes undergo destemming and light crushing, followed by 10 days of skin contact with spontaneous fermentation using indigenous yeasts. Frank Cornelissen Susucaru Rosato 2024 ages in neutral epoxy tanks before being bottled unfined with no added sulfites. The result is a savory, deeply colored rosato with textured grip.
