Description
The Columbia Valley in Washington State is the exact opposite of what you’d assume it would be given the reputation of the rainy and cold Pacific Northwest. Tucked into the central part of the state, the region is more desert-like, with a classic continental climate of hot, dry days and cooler evenings. Vines planted in the area see very minimal rainfall during the growing season, which leads to bold and robust flavorful wines like our Bordeaux-style red blend. A combination of 50% Malbec and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, this award-winning wine received both a Gold Medal and a 92 point score from the 2020 Sommelier Challenge.
