Released in early 2019, this expression features mature Tennessee Whiskey that underwent a secondary maturation in barrels previously used to age local Tennessee red wine. The “Barrel Reunion” title signifies a technical full-circle: these barrels were originally crafted at the Jack Daniel Distillery, used to age a local red wine, and then returned to Lynchburg for this unique finish.
This wood-finishing process introduces sophisticated layers of dark cherry, plum, and soft floral undertones to the traditional charcoal-mellowed profile.
