Description
Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Tasters Selection No. 007 Twin Blend is a highly technical, limited-edition experimental allocation released in 2021. Curated by Master Taster Jessica Hartline, this expression serves as a conceptual study on grain interaction and yeast performance by blending two distinct, globally recognized Jack Daniel’s distillates. The liquid is a precise marriage of the distillery’s traditional Tennessee Wheeler Mash Bill (corn, rye, malted barley) and their progressive Tennessee Rye Mash Bill.
Both components were barreled on the exact same date—May 19, 2014 (indicated by the technical batch code 14E19)—and underwent maturation side-by-side in identical charred American white oak casks. Bottled at 107 proof, this unfiltered blend presents a unique structural framework where the soft, banana-and-vanilla sweetness of the traditional mash bill balances the sharp, peppery clove and herbal mint characteristics of the high-rye distillate.
