Description
Jean-François Ganevat Arbois Savagnin Le Clos is a biodynamic white wine from Jura, France, crafted from old Savagnin vines planted on grey marl soils covered with limestone scree. This south-facing single parcel in the Arbois appellation receives protection from cold winds. Grapes undergo direct pressing and spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in neutral demi-muids. The wine ages over three years on fine lees with regular topping up to prevent oxidation. Bottled without fining, filtration, or sulfur additions, representing Ganevat’s minimal intervention philosophy and pure terroir expression.
