Jean-Marc Dreyer Gewurztraminer Origin Maceration is an orange wine from Alsace, France, crafted from 100% Gewurztraminer grapes. The estate, located in Rosheim, practices certified biodynamic viticulture, emphasizing minimal intervention to produce authentic wines. Grapes undergo a maceration period of 10 to 20 days, depending on their condition at harvest, allowing for enhanced extraction of aromas and tannins. Fermentation occurs spontaneously with indigenous yeasts, and the wine is aged in old wooden barrels. Bottled without filtration or added sulfur.
