Description
La Cattiva Rosso Primitivo 2021 is produced in Sammichele di Bari on Puglia’s limestone plateau at 280 meters altitude. The winery, established in 2019 by former brewers, practices organic viticulture on seven hectares. Hand-harvested Primitivo undergoes one-day maceration with frequent punchdowns before spontaneous fermentation without added sulfites. The wine ages eight months in stainless steel tanks. Production follows natural winemaking principles with minimal intervention. The finished wine contains 13% alcohol, lower than typical regional Primitivo.
