The wine is driven by Cabernet Sauvignon (about 89%) with Petit Verdot, aged roughly 18 months in French oak, giving it both polish and structure. Aromatically, it opens with vibrant layers of black cherry, cassis, and ripe plum, accented by cedar, tobacco, and subtle cinnamon spice.
On the palate, Othello is medium- to full-bodied with silky tannins and bright acidity, balancing juicy dark fruit with savory undertones of graphite, leather, and cocoa. The finish is smooth and elegant, reflecting the restrained, Bordeaux-inspired style that defines the wines of Christian Moueix’s Napa estate.
