Coming from the northern part of Italy, the wine benefitted from the slightly cooler climate and great weather. 2018 was a stellar vintage for the area and the wine shows some beautiful notes. Dark and red fruits mingle with chocolate and oak in this complex wine. The smooth finish makes it a joy to come back to sip after sip. We think that the wine is even better with food. It will charm all of your guests at your next dinner party when paired with charcuterie, roasted pork, or any type of game bird. And judges love it too! It took home 90 Points and a Gold medal from the 2019 Sommelier Challenge.
