Stagg Barrel Proof Batch 25B is a 126.9 Proof (63.45% ABV) small batch bourbon produced at the Buffalo Trace Distillery. This 2025 seasonal release is the second batch in the series and is composed of stocks aged for approximately 8 to 9 years in the distillery’s traditional metal-clad warehouses. Utilizing the low-rye Mash Bill #1, this expression is bottled uncut and non-chill filtered to maintain the full complexity of the barrel.
The aging process in heavy-char American white oak has developed a rich profile of dark chocolate, toasted marshmallow, and the signature cherry core characteristic of the Stagg label. A high proof delivery ensures a dense mouthfeel and a powerful, spicy finish defined by seasoned oak and sweet pipe tobacco.
